Acommendation

I applied for an appartment through University Accomodation Center and found a room in Jagargatan. The room was small but it was enough for me. The standard and cost of the room was good.

Leisure time and social activities

There were a lot of activities to participate but i didn't participate.

Pre-departure

I choosed to do the Erasmus programm because i wanted to know how physiotherapy is working in other country. I visited before Stockholm and liked it. I wanted to live the experience of living independendly, learning other culture and practicing in my profesion. I had heard from another students that Sweden has good standards in physiotherapy , so I choose the KI university. I wanted to learn something more and bring it back to Greece.

Courses during the exchange period

AT1X01 : Community and Home Based Rehabilitation - Cultural Perspectives
It was an interesting course. I learnt a lot especially about how health care systems are working in different countries. The quality of this course was great. There were a lot of teachers from different countries and I liked it a lot. Everything went well with the supervisors.
SSVK13 : Literature Review
This course was "incorporated" with my final degree project . Everything went well regarding the supervision and the quality.
1EE017 : Clinical rotation 1 for exchange students - physiotherapy
The clinical rotation 1 took part in the Rehab Station (Frosunda). I am really pleased about the supervision and in generall all of them were really helpful. I really liked the way the "team" is working together.

This clinical rotation took part in the Rehab Station (Frosunda) as well.

Summary

I enjoyed this exchange programm. I learnt a lot during my courses and clinical rotations. It was an experience that I will never forget. I had a great time.

Language and Culture

I did not participated in any Swedish language course.

Studies in general

The theoritical courses I took were Comunity and  Home Based Rehabilitation (CBR), literature review and the final project. It was a great experience for me, really different in a good way comparing to my university in Greece. The CBR was an international course and the relationship between the students/teachers was really good. I  was enrolled in two clinical rotations, which  took part in the Rehab station. It was really interesting and I learnt a lot of things. My relationship with my supervisors was OK. During the final 2 months i started working my thesis. I really appreciate the help provided from my supervisor. I really liked the process of defending the thesis.
