Leisure time and social activities

social activities, of course, global friends was very helpful in providing those in abundance, no complaints on my side.

Mosquée de Paris

Pre-departure

i was chosen on merit to go on exchange at KI, and i accepted because i had never been to Europe before and KI was the home of the Nobel prize.
The exchange information provided was adequate
The study abroad program  provides endless opportunities for students and a new perspective to education systems
we were not required to get vaccinations but i did them anyway about six i.e, meningococcal, Hep B, tetanus, diphtheria, measles, rubella, mumps.

Courses during the exchange period

ELAX16 : Obstetrics and Gynaecology
since i want to be a gynecologist, this was my based rotation overall, seminars very informative, lectures, supervisors and consultants very supportive. more time at the OPD and OR. had a chance to be part of a robotic surgery(dint see that coming!!). am now more convinced than ever to peruse obstetrics and gynecology.
ELAXX7 : Surgery 2
very practical. more time in the OR. supervisors very informative and interactive. i learned interesting new techniques and procedures. speaking in terms of evidence based research is now my thing, all credit goes to KI.

Summary

my exchange period was totally awesome, would do it again in a heat beat if i could and KI would be my destination.
because of this opportunity i plan to come back to KI for further studies in the future. thank you

Language and Culture

jag ha!!, i did and i can say it did me quite good. it was nice thanks

Studies in general

let me start with the study environment one word can be used here " conducive" ,
lecturers are warmly, interactive on first name basis and available. reading materials are always up to date. and supervisors gave interpretations when needed. am rely grateful.
patients are very understanding and interested in foreign students, its kinda cool when a patient asks you about your home country and enables rapport!
the only important similarity with my home university was seminars running alongside clinical work
difference is that due small numbers of lecturers or be it large number of students the student -lecture interaction is not that good.
what should be changed at KI, nothing!!
