Accommendation

it arranged on line and the standard was satisfactory. No additional advice,

Language and Culture

We used English. The Culture is habitable but some one could be more comfortable if he/she knew swedesh as a language.

Leisure time

yes, visited the tallest tower in Stockholm, and museum, Royal castle.

Miscellaneous

overall opinion- the teacher exchange was good and fruitfull.

Other activities

I visted physiotherapy department Huddinge and Solna campus. I made friends in clinical area and shared experiences on how management of some conditions is done home and Sweden.

Preparation

I got to know of my opportunity when fellow teachers from Karolinska Institute, Sweden told me. It was when they were about to end their stay in Uganda.

Partly i a participated in my preparation especially following up the visa and  i also used a travelling agent to get me an air ticket.

The accomodation was booked by the University.

Reflections

Greatly it made alot of positive impact on the way how teacher-student interactions are carried out. Case presentations were good and it encourages students to learn by themselves, self confidence building in addressing a class, self organisational skills are improved upon. Yes, more so in case presentions and reflections provided all students have access and skills to extract information and use a computer.

Teaching

The teaching methods were similar. only that our library is not digitalised, and its mostly in hard copies. The power point teaching is in use in general.

what i found good there and may be not very much emphasized  here is Relections on all that is taken/decided in form of practice.

Teaching hours

Betweenfive - seven and half hours of teaching , two-three lessons per week
